Greetings from the Philippines!m (Click headline for complete article)

The Lord has truly blessed during the past 2 weeks! I am just getting ready for a few hours of rest before flying out early Monday morning, Philippine time. With the time change, my flight arrives in Philadelphia at 2 PM, Monday afternoon.

Philippines Teaching Ministry

Greetings from the Philippines! (click on link for full article)

My first visit here was in 2005. Since then, I have travelled here eight times, most often with FBC members on work teams. The experiences of teaching, working and ministering to local pastors has given me a great love for the Philippine people. The Lord has used Faith Bible Church to have a very important partnership in spreading the gospel and strengthening the body of Christ in the Philippines.

Philadelphia Abortion Mill

The horrors of new-born children being murdered after they survived an abortion are even more horrific than we originally discovered. Read this article from Family Research Council to learn of the despicable details, and their implication.

Philippine Update 1

Mabuhay! This common Philippine greeting is a polite term of affection which means “have a wonderful and meaningful life.” That’s a great description of how the pastors in Mindinao responded to the ministry shared with them yesterday.

Greetings from Seaside Bible Camp on the northwestern shore of the Mindinao Island. Mindinao is the largest of the southern islands in this nation of over 7,000 islands, stretching more than 1,500 miles from north to south. I was invited here to speak to a pastors conference on the subject of Hermeneutics. CLICK ABOVE FOR THE REST OF THE BLOG

Sermons on Islam

The burring of the Koran is a barrier to sharing the gospel with Muslims. We must proclaim the truth without intentionally provoking those who do not believe the gospel. The reaction in the Muslim world to this provocation reveals much about the nature of Islam and difference between Islam and Christianity. Open this item for a link to five sermons dealing with the religion of Islam.

The Theology of Beck

The attached article by David James examines the theology of Glenn Beck. Many Christians support the conservative values promoted by Glenn Beck. David's article expresses agreement with many of those principles, but also warns Christians of the growing theological promotion of Beck's Mormon faith. I have been impressed with many of Beck's statmenets about our culture, economy and the importance of the Constitution. While I agree with many of the points he makes about our country, I deeply disagree with Beck's theology.
