Dr. Michael R. Keeton has been serving at Faith Bible Church since January 1, 1990.  He entered full time ministry in 1976 as a member of the Word of Life quartet.  He and his wife Cheryl were missionaries in Bogota, Colombia with Word of Life until a medical situation brought them back to the United States where he served on the staff at First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks in Largo, Florida.  Since 1990 he has served in many areas of the church including music, teens and young couples.

He attended the Word of Life Bible Institute and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Bible from Covington Theological Seminary, and earned his Master of Ministry and Doctor of Ministry in Christian Counseling from Covington Seminary.

He married Cheryl in 1979.  They have three married children, Michael Keeton, Jr., Kristie Keeton Hickman and Joy Keeton Marcucci.
